Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

We are seeking a
Scheduler to work in our longstanding contract with Defence the Victoria region, based in
Simpson Barracks, Yallambie.

You will be responsible for providing effective assistance and support to the operation and management of all services to a Defence site in support of the Estate upkeep team, ensuring the service outcome is met effectively, efficiently and to the performance and quality standards required by the contract.

Duties:

Ensuring compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety programs at the same time promoting a continuous improvement philosophy.
Ensuring maintenance activities are planned and scheduled including confirming all documentation is uploaded to facilitate claiming.
Coordinating resources including trade utilization and equipment to achieve contract objectives.
Coordinating resources of subcontractors, including performance monitoring and work allocation.
Completing KPI and other reporting within required timeframes.

- where necessary escalating corrective actions required to maintain quality and timing of supply in accordance with respective agreements.

About you:

Good knowledge of Defence facilities maintenance or similar Facilities Management environment.
Possess qualifications relevant to planning and scheduling or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in conducting planning and scheduling activities within a complex maintenance environment, including working with trade staff, coordinating repair parts and other resources.
Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or similar will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in managing customer service and customer expectations.
Excellent oral and written skills with a strong customer service focus.
Welldeveloped computer skills in Microsoft and SAP or similar.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
