We have an exciting opportunity in the Service Enablement Team for an Operational Readiness Coordinator.

This role manages the review and analysis of all required artefacts for the successful transition of projects and services of varying scope and complexity into business-as-usual operations, with the goal of developing and enhancing service delivery for NSW Health customers.


Reporting into Richard Sung, Service Transition Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for the successful transition of projects and services into operations.


We encourage applicants from regional and metro NSW locations as we work mostly remotely, with flexible working options to attend Charlestown, Parramatta & Chatswood offices.

What you will do
As an integral member of the Service Enablement team, you will:

  • Clearly identify the required operational readiness objectives which must be met for service provisioning and service engagement, including deployment and production support.
  • Perform appropriate quality assurance activities including risk and issues management, ensuring ownership of any unmitigated risks are assigned and approved by the appropriate stakeholders prior to deployment into production.
  • Coordinate the overall Service Acceptance process and maintain methods for ensuring acceptance scope and compliance are tracked and reported on.
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships through open consultative communications and providing timely delivery of information.
  • Work collaboratively with project team members, customers and product teams to ensure that operational
requirements and processes are developed to support ongoing operations.

About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for:

  • Relevant experience and a record of achievement in Operational Readiness in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Service Transition or project delivery with a focus on operational readiness and service support with a sound understanding of risks and issues management.
  • Knowledge of service management frameworks with a particular focus on change, release, and service transition practices.
  • Good time management and communication skills are required for this role.
