Job Posting Title:

Accounts Payable Officer (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)


Summary:

The role form part of the Accounts Payable team to support the business with, Invoice Processing & Service Desk.


The purpose of the Accounts Payable Officer role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure PO Invoice entry and query resolutions are consistently delivered to a high standard.


The role will be responsible for not only performing Accounts Payable related duties in accordance with procedures and policies but also manage issues with stakeholders and drive a continuous improvement culture across AP function.


What You'll Do:


  • Perform Accounts Payable related duties in accordance with policy and procedures for invoice processing Purchase Order invoices.
  • Manually process PO invoices and also manage PO Robot exceptions.
  • Perform Monthly & ad hoc Vendor Reconciliation for PO Vendors
  • Management PO Match exceptions including, price and Quantity variance and following up receipting.
  • Aid with complex accounts payable related queries and complex problems.
  • Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any issues.
  • Support the AP Service desk to respond to queries.

What We're Looking For:


  • Attention to detail to support this gatekeeper role for compliance and control practices.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, including management of multiple deliverables to tight deadlines Degree qualitied in an accounting related or similar field.
  • Experience in a global organisation with multiregional teams and processes
  • Lead change initiatives across the team to support process improvement.

Skills Required:


  • 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate with suppliers is a must.
  • Willing to work flexibly to cover the hours required for Australia, New Zealand, Asia, USA, EMEA based on volumes per region.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with suppliers & internal stakeholders.
  • Previous experience with MS Dynamics a plus
