Lead Dental Technician (3D Surgical Guide)

LOCATION:
Dulwich, SA

A2 Dental Laboratory is a full-service established in 2009 laboratory specialized in crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, and partial frames.

Now with the 3shape D2000 scanner and the VHF S1 and S2 milling machines, our qualified team are designing and milling in-house, therefore reducing turn-around time and eliminate the need to outsource jobs.

POSITION:
Lead Dental Technician (R2GATE /
3D Surgical Guide)

A good knowledge of CAD/CAM designing and milling using 3 Shape, as well as being familiar with in-house 3D printing equipment with a good understanding of digital workflow and implant system, is essential for this position.

- QUALIFICATIONS

Must have at least Diploma in relevant field

- REQUIREMENTS

At least 10 years of experiences as a Dental Technician or minimum 7 years of experience with a formal qualification at least Diploma in the relevant field
In depth CAD/CAM experience.
Hands on experience with Wieland CAD/CAM and 3 Shape.
Knowledge in various dental implant system such as Megagen, Osstem, Dio, Dentium, Strauman.
Knowledge of surgery related to the Dental implant surgery.
Experience of the R2 gate, R2 cad, R2 ware, R2 Lite development team.
Knowledge of R2 PTE guide for the Root membrane technique, and the R2 Stockable guide for the implant surgery as well as R2 BoneDeduction guide for the BoneDeduction surgery.
Be able to use 3 Shape for Surgical guide, 3D denture, Crown, Crown bridge, Screw retained crown, Custom Abutement, Night guide, Special tray.

- MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing Softwires
R2 gate, Magics and 3 Shape for Surgical guide, 3D denture, Crown, Crown bridge, Screw retained crown, Custom Abutement, Night guide, Special tray.
Using 3D printer for Surgical guide, Custom trays, 3D model, 3D denture & Crown Bridge.
Analyse the CBCT and devise a proper diagnosis for doctor.
Extract the stl file from the CBCT and print out it as the 3d printing model.
Oversee junior technicians
Troubleshoot issues
Log all repair jobs and maintenance activities

Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year
