This business has a culture of high performance and is looking for an experienced Company Secretariat Assistant to join their team.


About the role

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance, the purpose of the Company Secretariat Assistant is to provide high quality support to the Company Secretaries and Head of Corporate Governance while maintaining corporate governance compliance.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Providing efficient, confidential administrative support
  • Maintenance of company registers
  • Preparation of reports, submissions, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and presentations
  • Maintaining calendars, schedules, master documents and tracking tools
  • Preparation and publication of Board and Executive Committee meeting agendas, papers, submissions, presentations and registers of action items
  • Production and collation of hard copy materials
  • Prepare and draft resolutions and papers while assisting the business in preparing submissions to the Boards
  • Assist with corporate governance, including compliance with regulatory governance standards and requirements relevant to the business
  • Support with minutes of the Board and Committee meetings as well as the tracking and follow through on actions assigned by the Boards and Committees
  • Assist with the production of sensitive and confidential documents in addition to the collation and publication of Board papers and Board packs
  • Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with the business to further enhance understanding of business and commercial acumen
  • Ad hoc administration and support as required

Selection criteria
To be successful in this position you will have

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across key business areas
  • Proactive work approach, resourceful thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and work autonomously under pressure
