Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you

We have a Coordinator opportunity at Spotswood where you'll be managing three Educators. You will mentor them and promote professional development and service success. This role allows development of your child-centric career within the Outside School Hours Care industry.

About the role


You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.


Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.

Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.


Offering 31.50 Hours Per Week you will work across Before and After School Care shifts from Monday - Friday; 07:00 AM - 09:00 AM and 03:30 PM - 06:30 PM.

You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too

About the service


Spotswood OSHClub is an existing OSHC service with an average attendance of 12 children in before school care, 30 children in after school care and 25 children in Holiday Program.

We have our own permanent set up space at this service which includes a kitchen and an office. This lovely service also has great school community that provides opportunity to participate in school events and be engrossed.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and company requirements, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids, and experience leading a team Strong and clear communication, and a team player Able to work split shifts Monday to Friday (have the middle of the day free) during term time Relevant qualification according to ACECQA (check their website for more info) Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights
