We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Credit Control Team on a permanent full time basis.

The Recoveries Officer role plays a significant part in the management of credit recoveries matters, processes, recoveries and enforcement activities both consumer and business / commercial members.

The position also provides support and advice to Credit Control, Asset Management and MCT.


We are looking for someone who can be responsible for protecting Beyond Bank's interests, by managing each account based on return and risk management to be in line of defence that ensure returns are achieved within an acceptable level of risk.

Risk can therefore create substantial value for Beyond Bank by partnering with other Business units within Beyond Bank, and with external parties to achieve maximum return, whilst protecting Beyond Bank's reputation.

The position will assist in the management and review of credit recoveries (including, areas for continuous improvement and opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency.


It also requires the Recoveries Officer to be fully aligned to the Beyond Bank's Strategic Plan and in particular informal Service Level Agreements for delivery of service.

The Recoveries Officer operates at different levels of responsibilities for remediation and enforcement decisions.


It is critical that the Credit Recoveries has a sound business acumen, competent negotiating skills and strong consumer, commercial recovery background.

Fluent communication and sound negotiation skills are required when liaising with Third Party providers and staff with a view to enhance the quality of work and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Description:

This role also requires compliance with Beyond Bank Policies, legislation and agreed service delivery timeframes.

There will be a strong emphasis on recoveries and enforcement compliance with overview of:


  • Procurement risks
  • Review and approval of security disposal and releases
  • Regulatory and Code compliance
  • Monitoring and overview of remedial actions undertaken by Credit Control Officers.
