Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Corporate Marketing Officer to join Marketing and Communication, Chancellery Division.


QUT Marketing and Communication Department is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate corporate marketing and communication campaigns to support QUT's strategic goals.

The Corporate Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering engaging and integrated campaigns to build brand awareness, consideration and study preference among prospective students and their influencers.

About the Chancellery Division


Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development.

The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.


About the Department

The Marketing and Communication Department is responsible for:

  • Building and protecting QUT's brand and reputation
  • Engaging and recruiting future students
  • Ensuring communications from QUT are effective and of high professional standard.


As well as professional services provided to the university community, the Department is responsible for a variety of corporate communication functions and oversees relevant policies, protocols and governance arrangements.


What you need to succeed


Your expertise and initiative, combined with your ability to work as an excellent team player will be vital to your success in this role.


You will demonstrate:

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least four years' subsequent relevant experience in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating effective marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.
  • High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in negotiation, presentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, with a proven ability to develop targeted product messages for translation across web, advertising, print and digital channels.
  • Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines, with minimum supervision.
