Description
Meka Recruitment are working with a leading plasterboard company that is currently expanding. Due to this expansion, they are looking for a Forklift Driver to join their team.


You will be required to:

  • Operate a forklift up to 6 tonne (willing to teach the right person)
  • Loading and unloading the plasterboards from the trucks
  • Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean at all times
  • Prepare orders as required and on time
  • Assist with other sections of the warehouse during busy times

The right person will:

  • Have a current forklift license, experience operating a 6 ton forklift or willing to learn
  • Construction White Card will be optional
  • Be physically fit as there would be a lot of heavy lifting and manual handling up to 25 kgs.
  • Able to work as part of a team to achieve the same goal
  • Be willing to assist with all warehouse duties when required
  • Have great attention to detail

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $32.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime

  • Penalty rates

Experience:


  • Forklift: 2 years (preferred)
  • Warehousing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (required)
