Contracts Coordinator, EM Technology (2 roles)

Reporting to the Manager Telecommunications Contracts you will be responsible for providing high quality support with the management and maintenance of robust contract administration processes and procedures.

This role is critical to the smooth and efficient management of large-scale contracts associated with a range of key technology projects within the emergency management sector.


Key accountabilities include:


  • Provide primary contract administrative advice, support and reports ready for presentation to periodic meetings and governance forums with stakeholders (e.g. User Reference Group, Contract Management Oversight Committee);
  • Assist the Manager, Telecommunications Contracts with performance of financial management activities in relation to EM Technology contracts.
  • Maintain efficient program administration systems, registers, processes and reporting, including document tracking and control, whilst proactively creating and implementing new systems to streamline processes as required.
  • Maintain and update Contract Management Plans, Contract Administration Manuals, Procedural documents and all other contract related documentation.
  • Prepare contractual milestone signoffs and Briefings for Payments (including managing documentation of acceptance process, approvals and certificates).

To be successful you will have:

  • Sound experience in State Government procurement and contract management procedures.
  • Strong organising and planning skills, ideally developed within a technology environment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Therefore, there is a requirement that all DJCS employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to undertake duties outside of their homes.

At interview stage and prior to commencement of employment with the department, you will need to provide evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 with three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal.

This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).


Acceptable evidence includes:


  • COVID19 digital certificate (available via your myGov account)
  • Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)
Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
