What success looks like in this role:
Responsible for managing a variety of basic to moderately complex projects and tasks involving compliance.

Ensure all employee labor charges billed to the government contracts meet the contract defined education/experience requirements for the labor category billed.

Serve as government property compliance expert.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employee labor charges billed to the government contracts meet the contract defined education/experience requirements for the labor category billed.

  • Serve as government property compliance expert.
  • Respond to data requests from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) including running reports for Jamis/Deltek historical data, running Cognos reports for Costpoint current year data, coordinating with Bismarck for AP and travel data, pulling copies of source documents, contract documents, billing records and other data, providing copies of current policies, manuals, flow charts, system documentation and other data.
  • Meet with the DCAA auditors to explain Unisys processes.
  • Document historical issues and the remediation actions taken.
  • Assist with internal communication of compliance issues (briefings to upper management and training to other department).
  • Recommend improvements to internal policies and procedures.
  • Draft new policies and procedures as needed.
  • Research technical Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)/Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) issues.
  • Assist with the preparation of the incurred cost submission, Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) disclosure statement, and forward pricing/provisional billing rate l indirect rate proposals, as needed.
  • Maintain logs/databases of action items in process.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and a minimum of 5 years in a government compliance role.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the FAR and CAS.
  • Experience working with the DCAA is required.
