About the role and where you will be working:

Our residential care team at Jeremiah Donovan House located in Forrestfield is looking for a Full time Therapy Assistant to provide client-focused individual support to our valued residents.


Jeremiah Donovan House caters for 65 residents and offers a full range of services including nursing care, medication management, personal care, hospitality services and dementia support services.

This is a Permanent FT position working every Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 4:30pm).


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Organise the activities planner and conduct activities
  • Support appropriate access to the resident's current interests
  • Liaise with community groups and schools to support activities
  • Work as part of a team
  • Show compassion & exercise patience
  • Treat our residents & their family with respect

About you:

It would be great if you're an experienced Therapy Assistant with a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance. Alternatively, you may have relevant aged care experience.

You enjoy chatting with residents, family members and staff, and work well with others.
