About the role:


Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Lead, you will be accountable for monitoring and reporting of Contractors quality performance across diverse civil projects within the Commercial Delivery Branch.

You will be responsible for assisting with the collaborative resolution of problems with our Contractors and escalating issues and concerns.

Working closely with Capital Delivery Project Managers and contributing to developing a culture of an incident and injury free organisation, you will use your solution focused and effective communication skills to drive effective outcomes.

You will have the flexibility to work across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay Regions and be part of a team that is contributing to keeping our community healthier.

Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • Previous experience in overseeing contractors' onsite construction activities particularly in line with quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles, documentation, processes and a working knowledge of water & waste infrastructure construction techniques.
  • Demonstrated understanding of civil & mechanical specifications and standards
  • Previous experience in producing written and digital reports, coupled with experience in the delivery of capital infrastructure.
  • An ability to work autonomously and be highly organised and time efficient.
  • A safetyfirst attitude, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certificate 3 in Engineering, Mechanical Trade.
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
