As the Portfolio Manager Audit - Transformation Assurance (equivalent to a Senior Manager) you will have a successful background in quality assurance over enterprise-wide programs and delivering internal audits of complex projects.

As a seasoned Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for supporting delivery of Audit's role in the Assurance over two key transformation programs/projects that are implementing the recommendations arising from the RBA Review and the RITS Outage Review.

They are the Future Hub enterprise transformation program across Culture, Risk, and Corporate Governance, and the Payment Operation Program. In addition, you will have an ongoing role to support other significant projects at the Bank.

You will support the maintenance and execution of Audit's Quality Assurance Program and Improvement Program (QAIP), pursuant to IIA's global internal audit standards.


You will have expertise in the planning and management of Audits for Transformation Assurance and the delivery of complex enterprise assurance projects/programs.

Your strengths in controls, methodology development, large scale program planning, a commitment to data analytics, business change assurance, agile practices, and a passion to succeed will you support you to drive the RBA's evolvement to the next level of excellence.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the continued development and implementation of methodologies for auditing the Bank's strategic initiatives and project portfolio.
  • Plan, execute and lead audit teams (and oversee teams led by others) to complete comprehensive program assurance reviews on time, to high standards and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Manage internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders; maintain proactive relationships with clients and assist Audit's senior management team with business engagement.
  • Experience in internal audit quality assurance programs and managing cosource providers.
  • Experience in implementing strategy and developing and implementing an ongoing quality assurance and improvement (QAIP) program.
  • Develop and coach team members and support the drive of team engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of the area, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes within a strong governance framework.
  • Experience in providing guidance and practical recommendations to business stakeholders to improve the quality of control evidence artefacts and address control issues or gaps.

You will report to the Senior Manager Audit - Quality Assurance and be part of a team that provides Quality Assurance programs to help reduce the risk of project failure and increase the value of project delivery.
