Positions Available:
- Working with our Disability participants and Aged Care Clients in Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cudgen, Banora Point and the Tweed Shire.
Right at Home is currently seeking
Community Care
Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, friendly and respectful high-quality service.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Social Support/ Transportation for social activites
- Shopping/ Groceries
- Travelling to medical appointments
- Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning and laundry
- Meal Preparation Assistance
- Supporting Clients with complex and/ or challenging needs
- Monitoring the wellbeing of clients and reporting
Essential Criteria:
- Australian National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Australian Drivers License and Comprehensive Insurance
- Covid19 vaccination certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/ Yellow card (can be obtained upon hiring)
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to provide personal, domestic and companion care
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Passion for care
- Willingness to travel distance and work in various shifts
