Location:

We are open to applicants based anywhere in NSW to work in a hybrid approach, if one is willing to travel into Parramatta as required.


Salary:
Starting from $92, % Super


Tenure:
Permanent, Full Time


What we are looking for:


  • A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business
  • Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives
  • A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value
  • Open to all experience levels, Relevant degree in law, business, etc or experience equivalent
  • Previous work experience in a law firm or inhouse legal team.
  • Knowledge of legal concepts in property law
  • Experience in legal research and writing
  • Ability to prioritise workload

What you will work on:


  • Ordering and analysing property searches as directed by the Legal Counsel Property or the WaterNSW Property team.
  • Assist in the lodgement of documents with the NSW Land Registry, such as for the transfer of title and registration of instruments such as leases.
  • Maintaining various property related databases, including the title search database.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the property precedents.
  • Assisting in the opening, maintaining, updating and closing of files within the legal practice management system (LMS).
  • Assist in the drafting and review of a range of real property instruments under the direction of the Legal Counsel Property.
