The
Behaviour Support Practitioner is an integral part of the clinical team, responsible for the delivery of clinical services in collaboration with the Team Leader, Account Managers and Client Care Managers.

The Behaviour Support Practitioner is accountable to the Clinical Director in relation to performance and metrics, and also professional development progression within our own Professional Development Program.


This position would suit any allied health practitioner or graduate (including psychology graduates who are not on the 4+2 or 5+1 pathway) with a strong interest in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD, ADHD and ID.

Ongoing training and professional development is provided alongside multidisciplinary supervisions and team-based approach.

Skills you will need

  • Ability to take responsibility for your own deliverables and outcomes in alignment with company outcomes
  • Writing skills, both formal and informal, particularly in report writing
  • Ability to understand the correlation and alignment between personal goals and company goals
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the outcomes of the position
  • Deliver on company's client satisfaction and financial outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with fulfilment team to enable throughput of clinical service delivery

Mandatory requirements

  • Registration, or eligible for registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS
  • NSW Working with Children's Check clearance
  • QLD Blue Card clearance
  • Satisfactory NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Satisfactory vaccination status (including triple Covid19 vaccination)
  • Driver's licence

Highly desirable

  • Existing Behaviour Support Practitioner registration with NDIS
  • Experience in the area of Behaviour Support or neurodevelopmental disorders in any setting
  • Experience in neuropsychological assessments and report writing in any setting
