_About The Role:
_

Our client currently has a fulltime vacancy for a _
_Maintenance Fitter__ to join our team based in Cheltenham. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key responsibilities for this role will be to work on product changeovers, preventative maintenance schedules, actioning breakdowns, minimising downtime and providing technical support when necessary. Your commitment, dedication and experience in a lean manufacturing environment will ensure you become an integral part of a small and diverse team._

_ What's on Offer:
_
- _Casual roles = $50 to $55 per hour_
- _Permanent full-time salary 100K + Super (negotiable based on experience)_
- _Working Monday to Thursday 7am start finish 3.30pm_
- _Fridays start time 7.00am finish 12.00pm_
- _On site parking_
- _Training provided_

_The core responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:_
- _Maintaining CNC machines (Chirons/Tornos & Nakamuras)_
- _Repair and fault finding on pneumatics and hydraulics machines (fluid power)_
- _Welding (MIG/TIG/Arc & Oxy)_
- _Maintenance requirements of equipment and tooling_
- _Maintaining CNC machines (Biesse)_
- _Maintaining Brake Press (Machtech, Yawei), Laser Cutter, Turret Punch_
- _Repair and fault finding on pneumatics and hydraulics machines (fluid power)_
- _Welding (MIG/TIG/Arc & Oxy)_
- _Maintenance requirements of equipment and tooling_

_About You_

The successful applicant, will demonstrate a strong balance of the following key skills and attributes:_

- _Over 5 years proven experience (post trade)_
- _Strong initiative and problem-solving skills_
- _Excellent team player who can work autonomously_
- _Up-to-date relevant permits_
- _Forklift Licence - preferrable but not essential_
- _Machining skills_
- _Completion of JSEA (Job Safety & Environmental Analysis)_
- _Exposure and experience with drills, fixtures and jobbing shop_
