Digital Field Services Delivery Manager to join them for a
-
24 month contract.
This individual will be responsible and accountable for the resourcing and delivery of Critical and Operational Comms infrastructure programs of work across Woodside's operating assets


Duties & Responsibilities:


Leadership

  • Allocate and coordinate resources in an operational environment to safely execute projects.
  • Provide technical direction to stakeholders on matters relating to the successful management, operation, and future of the delivery portfolio.
  • Lead a multisupplier delivery team, with diverse backgrounds and skills sets, to function as a single, high efficiency unit in the delivery of telecom projects according to business demand.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Responsible for developing relationships across IT, Production, Operations, Campaign Maintenance, and with customers and suppliers to enable successful delivery of projects.
  • Translate stakeholder, STM, business, and customer governance needs and lead the behaviour, process, and routine changes required to deliver on those needs.

Functional Excellence

  • Appropriately size the Delivery workforce to scale with varying demand from various business lines.
  • Contribute to workflow management planning, gate the entry of activity into the Delivery portfolio, and optimise the structure of projects delivered to ensure minimum double handling, minimum mobilisations required for safe work and quality steady state operations.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered within budget and schedule and relevant authorities and stakeholders are involved in endorsement of any deviation from agreed scope, schedule or budgets.
  • Safeguard the production environment by following all relevant IT Change Controls and Engineering Management of Change processes.

Commercial Management

  • Manage Service Provider Project Managers, Engineers, Cost Controllers, Planners and all other services necessary for the requisite scale of Delivery on the performance of their project services.
  • Ensure contract ceilings, and contract provisions align with current and forecasted consumption of supplier services.
  • Explore and act on commercial arrangements, options or services that support Woodside to deliver on its low carbon, environmental, social responsibility goals in carrying out its business.

Health & Safety

  • Accountable for undertaking health and safety duties required for "Supervisor" role in Our Safety Culture Framework
  • Ensure that teams undertake their respective roles in WEL's Safety Culture Framework
  • Manage and assure all aspects of H&S, including welfare, resilience, fatigue management, and recovery with respect to delivery of services

Skills & Experience:


Experience

  • Seasoned professional whose skills and knowledge have been supplemented by substantial, applicable work experience in a complex and broad scope of telecom apparatus and services definition and delivery.
  • 5+ years' experience leading teams and interacting with, and reporting to, senior business stakeholders.
  • 10+ years' experience in Engineering and Technology industry
  • 10 years in Operational Communications and IT services in the energy industry

Skills/Competencies

  • Can be trusted to lead and build personnel and teams such that they can work alone on projects of a range of sizes and complexity, know what they don't know, and identify and secure missing specialist skill sets to enable successful delivery.
  • Can build governance frameworks for service provider delivered projects and assure Woodside requirements are met.
  • Understands how a business learns and improves.
