About the position


The Information Services (IS) department is responsible for the implementation, development and maintenance of Information Services and Systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence, Student Management, Content Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management and Marketing technologies.

The department works closely with the Office of the CTO and Projects and Business Transformation department to further advance the services provided and, with IS Enterprise Services, to ensure that capacity and service availability meet business needs.


The department develops and maintains the overall program plan of change activities across the portfolio, including proactive engagement to identify business opportunities through the utilisation of both current and emerging technologies.

The Systems Analyst (HR) works collaboratively with IS colleagues and the Manager, HR Systems and team in the Human Resources Division, providing technical support to ensure the effectiveness of the core HR Systems:

  • SAP
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)
  • SuccessFactors Performance and Goals (P&G or Career Success)
  • Workforce Software (WFS Timesheets and Leave management)

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • A degree with substantial extension of the theories and principles, learned through experience; or a range of management experience; or postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a HR Systems Analyst, or a similar role
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with SAP HR systems (Successfactors, ERP Payroll) and Workforce Software. You will also, ideally, be exposed to PageUp, SAP Litmos, Simple Finance and CPI.
  • Experience with SAP support packs and other HR system updates
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues related to data integrity, system performance, and user access in SAP HR systems, SAP replication and import and export processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan and coordinate small
- to medium-sized systems projects

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors
  • Proven collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with HR teams and stakeholders, as well as IT teams and other key partners
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to provide support and assistance to users in resolving technical issues
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of data mapping and integration processes for CPI interfaces in SAP HR systems (Desired)
