The opportunity
***Our client is seeking a health & safety advisor to support on site with a 9 story, 85 luxury apartment build project within the eastern suburbs.

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be highly valued and a respected member of the team and should except to have constant support from all higher management.

What the roles includes

Coordinating and implementing WHS strategies that deliver the highest quality outcomes and suitably trained staff
Conduct and coordinate regular safety inspections and audits as required.
Provide advice to all site personnel and employees, ensuring each Safety process (e.g. Hazard ID) is executed effectively and diligently.
Ensure the safe running of the site by carrying out toolbox talks, site inductions updating and management of SWMS.
Update and manage the company's safety management system.

To be successful in this type of role

Diploma or Certificate IV in WSHQE, or Construction Management or higher
First Aid & CPR training Certificate
Must have 1+ years' experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Head Contractors
Must be an excellent communicator and able to build rapport with all key stakeholders
Be able to carry out meetings and presentations with both your team and the client
Excellent administration and computer systems
Demonstrate a real passion for safety
