Casual Support Worker

Location:
Illawarra Region, NSW

What We're Looking For:

Availability between Monday to Friday 8am 6pm.
A genuine love for older people and a commitment to their wellbeing.
Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging in friendly conversations.
A caring and compassionate nature.
The desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients.

Responsibilities:

Providing companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients.
Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
Travelling with client in your car and the confidence to work independantly.
Engaging in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
Ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients.
Reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

What We Offer:

Competitive compensation $37.14 p/h with 96c per/km in between all client services.
A supportive and friendly work environment.
Opportunities for professional development
We offer further training in Certificate III in Individual Support.

As well as Bridge training online that has many videos to further develop skills in specialised services, such as:
dementia, disability, high needs equipment training.
