Description

Leverage your extensive technical knowledge and people management skills to build, coach and inspire a team of 20-40 Engineers across 2-4 scrum teams.

What role will you play?


As a Software Engineering Manager you will own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the team owned product and platforms.

As well as technology ownership, you will also own the hiring, retention, growth and development of an engineering team to build a psychologically safe environment.


You will ensure high code quality, testing and security standards and work with engineering leaders from other teams or platforms to unblock issues impacting delivery.

Finally, you will participate in incident management and team roster activities and show ownership when there are problems in your space.


What you offer

  • Relevant experience managing multiple software engineering teams
  • Strong technical background (preferably Java based)
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives
  • Product company experience with an understanding of how to build great products in an Agile environment
  • Computer science education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organisation.
