About the role
We are seeking an experienced
National Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team based in Brisbane.

This role will:

Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant legislation in all areas of AVID Property Group
Management and oversight/review of the WHSEMS for compliance with current legislation and governing standards in all jurisdictions AVID Property Group undertakes work
Provide independent and timely reporting of WHS statistics, risks and trends
Provide strategic advice on WHS legislation, systems, policy to effectively manage risk
Deliver training to all staff as necessary
Chair and Steer the WHS Working Committee to drive continuous improvement and provide effective communication on all WHS related matters throughout the organisation

Skills and Experience

Experience in the development and management of safety plans, frameworks and management systems
Ability to effectively communicate and educate employees and stakeholders on WHS requirements
Experience in built form construction regarded highly but not essential
Experience in Incident Management / Investigation and Crisis Response and Management
