About the team:

Bridging the gap between our suppliers, distribution centres and stores, our Supply Chain team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day.

We work hard to make life easier, safer and more sustainable across our network.

You'll be a key part of our Quality team, based across our Kewdale CDC & Jandakot Produce DC, who maintain the supply of great quality food from our suppliers to our stores.

About the role:With training provided to help you develop a strong understanding of quality standards and product specifications, you'll maintain the tools and equipment and manage the timely completion of quality inspections for fresh produce and chilled deliveries from our suppliers.

Other ways you'll make an impact:

record and communicate inspection outcomes to the Coles Quality and Commercial teams

- ensure the highest quality products are despatched from our DC to our stores

This is a permanent role that may see you work across weekends and public holidays. Start times may vary and range from 4am and midday.

About you and your skills:

This role will leverage your strong communication and analytical skills as well as to learn and develop your career.

You will be working in a cold environment and the need to have your own means of transport will be essential for this role.

You will also have:

Experience working in a fastpaced environment, collaborating with a diverse team
Excellent priority, time management and communication skills to complete tasks on time and to a high standard
Proactive approach, able to work quickly and identify challenges and risks
Ability to work with or can learn quickly how to use a range of tools/equipment or systems for quality testing
