We have an exciting opportunity for a gardening apprentice to join our team

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.


Responsibilities for this position include:


  • Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.
  • Grass cutting (using walkbehind, rideon mowers, edges and brush cutters).
  • General tidying up and rubbish removal.
  • Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).
  • Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
  • Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III in Parks and Gardens.

To be successful you will need to have the following:


Must have:


  • Ability to undertake manual/physical work
  • Genuine interest in gardening
  • Punctual, reliable and energetic
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good, strong work ethics and time management skills
  • Be a confident communicator

Preferred but not essential:


  • Driver Licence
  • Own car
  • A white card
  • Experience in the field
