About the role


The Internal Communications Manager leads a small team to develop and implement effective communication campaigns, content and events targeting a range of stakeholders, including current and potential employees.

This role collaborates with colleagues across the hospital to support employee engagement, change, diversity and inclusion and employer branding strategies, while creating connection to organisational values and vision.

It has responsibility for internal channel management, CEO communications and organisation-wide leadership on best practice internal communications.


About you
To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A degree in communications (or related discipline) with experience in a similar role
  • Internal communications expertise and a proven track record developing and delivering successful internal communications initiatives with experience managing and improving internal channels
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills and experience producing content in a range of engaging styles and formats
  • Solid time management skills and experience successfully delivering to tight timelines while managing multiple priorities
  • Experience managing people and supporting them to deliver high quality outputs and further develop their skills, confidence and productivity
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and colleagues from a range of backgrounds and disciplines.
