Lifestyle Solutions are seeking two highly experienced Disability Support Workers to join our long standing, committed and self-managed team in the Penrith area.


This service cares for four male participants with significant disabilities including severe intellectual disability, autism (non-verbal), pica, epilepsy; whom present with complex and challenging behaviours.


This live-in carer model is structured to provide consistent supports to participants which will entail employees to be rostered on for 3-4 days at a time with a monthly rotating roster.


While no one day is the same, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe home environment with a consistent routine.

All household functions including, personal care, meal preparation, documentation, medication administration, cleaning, washing and transporting to and from appointments.


To be considered for these opportunities, you will need the following;

  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex behaviours
  • Versatile communication skills including the ability to interact with both verbal and nonverbal customers
  • An eye for detail and good administrative skills to ensure the Service maintains a high standard of reporting and documentation
  • Possess a positive attitude alongside a high level of resilience and commitment to the clients and the role
  • Willing to commit to a livein roster on 34 days continuous shift pattern (including awake or sleep over shifts)
  • Current AU Driver's License (mandatory requirements)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be wiling to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003 (or be willing to obtain)
  • Uptodate Covid Vaccinations (or exemption provided)
