About the Role
We are seeking a Service Support Officer. In this role you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation supporting Dust Diseases Care.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to leadership by being a central point of contact and ensuring key support activities are accurately delivered.

Duties
It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a
Service Support Officer you will:

  • Provide operational support to the Head of DDC & Head of Health Screening including organising appointments and meetings and dealing with enquiries from internal and external customers to contribute to service excellence.
  • Provide central point of contact and coordinating support for applicable icare processes including complaints, incidents, ministerial responses and others as required.
  • Plan and prioritise key administrative and support activities to ensure an appropriate balance is achieved and service standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate required reporting on behalf of DDC which may include requesting data through the data and analytics teams.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas and minutes for the Head of DDC & Head of Health Screening to provide an effective support service
  • Manage ad hoc invoicing and payments for DDC to provide an efficient and effective service.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation, policies and procedures in order to provide accurate information on a range of enquiries relevant to the functions of the team/business unit.
  • Complete general project work at the discretion of your managers.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in providing executive assistance to a Senior Executive in a corporate or government environment
  • Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications in administration or equivalent skills acquired through practical experience highly regarded
  • Advanced organisational and time management skills, with exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management internal and external
  • Take initiative, forward plan and be adaptive
  • A passion for people and building strong networks
  • Resilient, professional and curious personality
