Our client is a large Government department responsible for protecting the nation's foreign and internal security.

Going through their largest ever investment ($10 Billion) to ensure they can deliver forward-looking capabilities essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond.

The Opportunity:

This is a 12-month contract with a 12-month extension working in Canberra. There is large amount of flexibility in working arrangements with some options to work from home.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a large-scale transformation program which will involve working across the whole of government to develop a first of its kind capability for Australia.

Get practical experience in cyber security.

The Role:

Working as part of an agile delivery team you will work collaboratively across multi-agency technology transformation initiatives.

Working with other programme colleagues you will be maintaining project documentation, updating risk registers, task tracking, stakeholder communication and providing updates regarding project status.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting in the provision of secretariat and/or project support
Preparing high quality written reports, briefing, minutes, communiqués, and communication material
Support collaboration between stakeholders with diverse objectives
Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action

The Ideal Person:

You will be comfortable in a government/corporate environment with experience in agile delivery. Be able to communicate effectively with a range of people, from key stakeholders to technical and communication teams.

You will ideally have:

2+ years in a project support role
Comfortable using both Waterfall and Agile methodology
Experience delivering and supporting ICT and business projects/programs

Salary / Rate:

$65/hr - $90/hr + Super:

12 Month contract + extensions
