Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our team.

Located on the lower North Shore, our leafy suburbs have a vibrant and diverse village atmosphere. We aim to provide "best value" services and facilities to the community whilst ensuring a sustainable future.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of end-to-end generalist HR services including the recruitment, training and development, and staff induction functions to meet Council's ongoing People and Culture responsibilities.

About You

Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
Previous work experience in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgment in resolving problems
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation
An ability to work under pressure and set priorities to meet key deadlines
An interest in learning and growing in your knowledge of HR.
