About the Opportunity
The Customer Asset Management branch is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join their team.

You will be required to manage the provision of a collection service involving the collection of liquid and semi-liquid assets from banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.

The role will require you to build and maintain trusting relationships with our customers in order to provide a high level of service.


This role will enable you to showcase your outstanding relationship management and administrative skills within a dynamic team that takes pride in the service they provide to the community.

You are flexible and adaptable with the ability to meet the changing priorities of the business while maintaining a customer service focus to actively support our team and broader the Public Trustee.

You have a high degree of analytical skills and always ensure a high attention to detail. You are self-motivated and work effectively autonomously. You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You build effective relationships with your team members ensuring you drive a positive culture within the branch.

About the Business

Public Trustee's mission statement is:
"To protect the wishes and interests of those we serve".


The Office of the Public Trustee was established in 1881 and is constituted under the provisions of the Public Trustee Act 1995.


The role of the Public Trustee is to provide eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.

Public Trustee also has a role in managing the financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs as determined by the courts, the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) or through activation of powers of attorney.

The Public Trustee is a separate agency within the broader departmental organisation of the Attorney-General's Department.


Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
