The opportunity:
Our Water team is looking for
Cadet Civil Drafters where you will work with experienced engineers, designers and drafters to deliver dynamic drafting solutions in a variety of civil engineering projects.
Although no previous experience is required, we are on the hunt for passionate people who enjoy modelling and drafting and are able to demonstrate a commitment to continued learning.
- Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs.
- Work under the guidance of our Engineers and Designers on civil engineering projects; and
- Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets, with detailed supervision.

Qualifications
About you:
To be successful you will display
- Limited experience or a keen interest in drafting and design in the civil and structural space
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
- An ability to problem solve and manage your time effectively
Educational and work experience that is preferred include:
- Diploma of Engineering Technical (completed or undertaking), and/or
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering (completed or undertaking) and/or
- Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (completed or undertaking)
