We're on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our dynamic Brisbane office in the role of
EL1 Assistant Director - Evidence Synthesis.


***- Location: Brisbane, QLD

  • Duration: Up to 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Role Overview
***
Your key responsibilities
***- Working with internal and external stakeholders to scope, develop and manage project plans.

  • Designing and documenting protocols for environmental scans, evidence snapshots, scoping or systematic reviews of evidence relevant to participants or models of practice.
  • Conducting searches of scientific and grey literature in accordance with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) standards.
  • Performing research in line with documented protocols for inclusion/exclusion of records, data extraction, quality appraisal and data synthesis.
  • Maintaining project related records including research software or platforms.
  • Engaging with external and internal stakeholders to interpret findings and support translation.
  • Preparing and presenting research reports and recommendations for different stakeholders, including internal slidepack summaries for stakeholders.
  • Supervising a small team on adhoc or ongoing basis
  • Supporting the growth of junior staff
  • Leading or supporting broader projects across the Branch

Role requirements

  • Australian Citizenship
  • A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in conducting evidence reviews and research.
  • Leadership potential with a desire to grow and develop.
  • Proficiency in interpreting findings and providing practical recommendations.
