ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
LOCATION:
Mittagong, NSW
You will be responsible for:
- Performing machining operations on metal workpieces based on mechanical designs
- Programming, setting and operating machine tools
- Loading and unloading workpieces
- Ensuring products meet production specifications
- Carrying out maintenance of machine tools
- Providing apprentices and junior metal workers with training and support in the use of machine tools
- Other tasks assigned relative to the role
ESSENTIAL:
- Previous Experience with laser CNC
- Previous experience with operating FANUC controller
- Some Experience in Metalworking Laser Operator
PREFERRED:
- Experience operating a 5 Axis "Robot arm" CNC for at least 2 years
- Previous experience as CNC machinist with 5Axis CNC for at least 2 years
- Certificates in CNC Programming/Engineering setup are heavily preferable
- Some Experience in Metalworking
REMUNERATION:
- $70,000 - $80,000 + Super + Overtime
