As the Head of Direct Channels for our Retail Life business, you will be responsible for delivering value to our customers and partners who engage with us without advice.
You will build and manage the distribution channels, whether that is direct or through partnerships; build and manage the product suite, manage the end-to-end cost to serve, and work with our technology colleagues to ensure our solutions can meet our customers and partner's needs.
It involves strategic planning and execution to drive growth and profitability, while maintaining high standards of risk assessment and operational nous.
This is a key leadership role, which plays an important part of the Retail Segment leadership team.
Working in an agile environment, you will also set the mission and priorities of the team and are accountable for defining the cultural standards your teams work towards.

- Strong understanding of product development within financial services, with the ability to be innovative and deliver new solutions to market.
- A good understanding of direct to market distribution channels.
- Extensive experience in managing cross functional teams in a complex environment.
- Understanding of technology that supports and enables our business.
- Strong marketfacing presence, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels with influence and impact.
- Proven ability to execute strategic plans and company initiatives.
- Strong business acumen including financial acumen and NPS drivers.
- Growth mindset that is opened to trying new things, bounces back quickly after setbacks and applies learning from mistakes. Takes the time and effort to improve, learn and grow.
