Description:

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing credit assessment decisions to staff and borrowers within set timeframes to maintain the banks service standards
  • Develop and maintain sound relationships with Lending Originators, providing feedback on accuracy and lending decisions
  • Contribute and identify potential risk issues and make recommendations to alter Beyond Bank's Lending Policies, process or work practices to reduce risk
  • Assisting and supporting Credit Management (MCT) in meeting financial performance objectives for lending functions
  • Seek continuous improvement and review opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and other service delivery options

Skills and Experiences:


  • Proven experience in all facets of lending, including assessment of business / selfemployed financial statements
  • A good understanding of the National Consumer Credit Act
  • Analytical acumen with strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to provide a high level of service to front line staff
  • The ability to provide clear feedback, and coach front line staff on credit decisions, lending quality objectives and process issues
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
