About the Assignment


The primary objective of this position is to coordinate the day to day transport required to support the Company's operations and development projects.

(This role is suited to an Administrator / Coordinator level individual)


Core accountabilities include though are not limited to:

  • Deliver company objectives and plan transport function
  • Assist in the coordination of both international and domestic request for transport for materials and equipment
  • Act in a manner compliant with NHVL and CoR regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed reporting on transport and logistics provider performance
  • Maintain accurate cost control of all transport and logistics services, including processing of associated invoices
  • Maintain KPI reporting on transport operations
  • Understand change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
  • Understand team purpose and role accountabilities that need to be delivered
  • Contribute to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directed
  • Timely collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Ensure compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behavior consistent with Company's environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards

About You

Essential experience required for this position includes:

  • Previous experience in area of Transport, Heavy Vehicle Scheduling, Freight Forwarding, and international logistics
  • Completion of formal Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and relevant Dangerous Goods (DG) transport training courses preferred
  • Experience in transport cost control and invoices
  • Experience in Supply Chain Systems & ERP
  • Experience in Purchasing to Pay Process
  • Advanced MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through sound influencing and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders

Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work/industry experience in technical area
