Our client is a multi-disciplined community services provider.

They are active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including residential aged care, home ageing, settlement and health, vocational and training, disability services, child care and many more community-based services.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled person to fill the Diploma Trained Childcare Educatorposition in their child care services.

Role Overview:

Our client is a community-based long day care centre.

They are looking for one passionate, qualified educator with experience in working with preschool age children or under and school children under 12 years of age.

Responsibilities:

Undertake the development and implementation of early childhood program that will contribute to the educational and developmental outcomes for children under care;
Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care services;
Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of children under care;
Ensure the compliance of all statutory requirements arising from the operation of the Centre;
On behalf of Company, foster good relationships between the parents, staff and other organisations;
Ensure that the Centre is operated in a manner compatible with the objectives of the Company;
Complete observation records and update charts through an online communication system.

Qualifications and other requirements

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care;
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training certificates;
Experience in working with children from different age groups;
An ability to plan and create engaging, age appropriate activities;
Commitment to working as a team;
Mature and responsible attitude towards work;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
Working with Children Check.
Good computer literacy is desirable
