About You

Key Responsibilities

  • Be familiar and understand the published rules and regulations in the exam supervisor's manual relating to exam supervisor / rover functions
  • Ensure the set up and exam distribution of exam papers/materials per student desk is complete prior to students being allowed into the venue
  • Assist students into the exam venue and find seats
  • Student attendance lists are completed and accurate
  • The exam collection of completed exam papers/materials per student is collected and accounted for the respective group of students
  • Ensure students remain quiet and that no writing occurs while the process of collecting completed exam papers/materials is being done
  • Ensure students remain seated until all completed exam papers/materials are collected
  • Remain in the exam venue until the exam room is cleared and ready for the next session
  • Report on all incidences
- (Student) focused. Maintaining a high level of vigilance and responding to student needs in a prompt and timely manner

  • Hearing and detecting any disturbance/interference/breaking of rules
  • Carrying papers (setting up and collecting large numbers of exam papers)
  • Confidentiality and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant exam supervisor/invigilator experience is highly desirable
  • Experience within a Higher Education Sector environment is highly desirable

Availability:

  • 2nd June: Invigilator training (10am 2pm approx.)
  • 521 June: Exam Invigilation (8.30am 4pm approx.)
