Our People Operations team plays an integral role in creating an exceptional employee experience across SafetyCulture.

The People Operations Administrator role is a critical 'enabling' role within our broader People & Culture team, acting as the engine that powers the entire team.

You will be the first line of support for all HR enquiries and ensure our HR systems are up to date to enable data-driven decision making.

You will help deliver seamless experiences from employee onboarding all the way through to offboarding, and everything in between.


About you:


  • Knowledge of HR (ideally tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field)
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service to create a great experience during key employee touchpoints
  • Ability to work with both efficiency and precision
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and meet agreed deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Great written communication skills
  • Interest in P&C / People Operations
  • Strong work ethic
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude

How you will spend your time:

  • Act as the first line of support with all queries that flow through our HR service desk (which includes triaging, resolving or escalating cases)
  • Support the employee onboarding process (for e.g. generating employment contracts, setting up employee profiles in our HRIS etc) to create a seamless onboarding experience for new starters
  • Support the employee offboarding process (for e.g. drafting letters, removing employees from systems etc) to create a seamless offboarding experience
  • Build working relationships with other teams (e.g. Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, Legal etc) to ensure an exception employee experience
  • Maintain and regularly audit employee data and documentation to enable datadriven decision making
  • Support with adhoc project work
