The opportunity:


The role sits within the Business Development team and works closely with Member Pharmacies, National Sales Manager, Symbion Key Account Managers, and the National Merchandise team.

As the Retail Program Manager, you will have a clear, engaging and aspirational vision for your member pharmacies and develop strategies which enable members to maximise sales and service opportunities.


What you will do:


  • Working closely with Symbion Key Account Managers to identify and attract new members to the program
  • Drive engagement by utilising Symbion programs and services, working closely with member pharmacy owners, staff, Key Account Managers, Customer Service, and the Marketing and Merchandise teams
  • Work with members to drive participation in marketing programs, core range, planograms and promotions
  • Attract, grow and retain members through demonstrating value and benefits of the program
  • Induction and training of new member pharmacies
  • This will be a hands on role where travel is required

What we are looking for:

Marketing and business development or similar degree
Strong operational experience gained in a multi-site retail environment, pharmacy preferred
Strong influencing and presentation skills
Experience in staff training and development
Passionate about development of independent retailers and community pharmacies
Self-motivated, able to set own priorities and work unsupervised
