THE OPPORTUNITY
People2people feel very privileged to be working with a global distribution company, recruiting for a Demand Planner to join their team in Balgowlah

They have been operating for over 30 years, and pride themselves on engaging in sustainability practices, surety of high-quality products, and excellent customer service.

The role encompasses three main aspects

Supply Chain management, issue management, and managing both internal and external customers.

Your daily duties in this position will include, (but not limited to):

Examining the development of product manufacturing
Updating & communicating details relating to the shipping of orders
Processing of incoming orders
Inform customers of progress as necessary
Processing of shipping documentation
Make certain that orders & files are confirmed
Maintenance of customer accounts & Navision systems
Finalise transfer files to both the inventory controller and accounts branch

Monthly tasks:

Checking over customer orders, and promptly communicate any issues
Liaise with customers regarding upcoming order predictions and inform the factory accordingly
Preparing updated customer order details
Conducting visits to stores each month where appropriate
Conduct continuous research to comprehend the pricing & positioning of products
Control share drive information relating to the customer & factory
Oversee inventory

- report any issues with the sales manager

Foster the sharing of information within the operations team
Ensure manuals are up to date as per daily duties
Obtain feedback from internal customers on a frequent basis to confirm they have all essential information

Key competencies/experience:

Previous experience as a demand planner
Proven excellence in customer service skills

This is a vast role, encompassing the combination of Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics and Demand Planning. The position is offering an enticing salary of up to

$90k + super.
