Your Key Accountabilities will include:


  • Undertake quantitative and qualitative research into external and internal issues affecting the QPS.
  • Extract information and analyse statistical data to identify critical issues relating to ethical and integrity matters, including environmental factors, trends and patterns, identifying problem areas and presenting quality advice to management in the form of briefings, reports, submissions, government and ministerial correspondence.
  • Assist in the evaluation of QPS programs and initiatives and consult with other areas of the Service on evaluation practices, methods and approaches.
  • Monitor and review integrity related policing practices, strategies and initiatives at state, national and international levels and assist in the provision of advice on their efficiency, effectiveness and applicability to the QPS.
  • Assist with the provision of wellresearched, soundly based and defensible oral and written advice to senior management.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement and maintenance of command information and database systems.
  • Liaise internally and externally with stakeholders and represent the QPS as required, including in areas relating to integrity and corruption prevention.
