Community Support Officer

Multicultural NSW exists to build and maintain a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all people in NSW.

Location - Parramatta (Hybrid working arrangement)

Employment type - Temporary full time up to 30 June 2024

Salary - $101,947 - $112,849 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role


The community support officer will engage with NSW vulnerable communities and stakeholders to champion their needs and achieve integrated community outcomes.

This role will ensure strong ties with local service providers to maximise participation in government services and programs.


What you'll do
As part of the role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to


Plan, evaluate, review and report on multiple projects and project variables to achieve robust outcomes and deliver targets within budget and timeframes.

Prepare high quality briefs, correspondence and advice for internal and external stakeholders

Maintain records through effective use of systems and technology

Connect with various stakeholder to achieve quality outcomes


What we're looking for
Able to work independently to make decision regarding allocation of daily time and resources.

Manage various competing business and stakeholder's interests.

Maintain positive relationship with government and community members.

Coordinate project activities with team
