The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader, Biosecurity Business Services to be part of our Biosecurity Division within PIRSA.

The role will support the Manager, Biosecurity Business Services to deliver a broad range of corporate and business service support to the Biosecurity Division.

Leading a small team, the Team Leader, Biosecurity Business Services will work collaboratively across the Division to ensure business support needs are met.

This includes financial, fleet, WHS and records management support and guidance.

The role will also work closely with the Corporate Services Division to ensure Divisional and Corporate governance responsibilities are met within Agency policies and guidelines.

What you'll be working on:

Bringing together a team of experienced administrative staff to provide business services support across the Division.
Work closely with senior managers to ensure effective support for their business needs.
Review existing registration and renewal processes with the view to create and implement efficiencies.
Managing the allocation of work assigned to staff and the performance management and development of these staff to ensure the delivery of highquality and a strong customer service culture.

Excellent communication skills
Strong organisational skills for effective time management
Ability to analysis existing process to create efficiencies
Demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to work and engage effectively with stakeholders of varying levels and experience across the agency.

What you will need:

The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (e.g. accounting, procurement, human resources, commerce) is desirable.

Requirements:

12 month contract
The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
Out of hours work may be required
You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.
The role will be required to participate in emergency response activities, including ensuring all required training and preparedness activities are completed.

Remuneration
***ASO5, $83,273 - $92,614 per annum
