Fixed Term 12-month contract

Full Time, 38 hours per week

Salary Range:
$85,000 - $89,999


SCHADS Award level 5.1 ($87,594.00p.a + Super).

is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to support and strengthen the capacity of families within our community by providing programs and services designed to contribute to the promotion and maintenance of safety and well-being amongst all family members.


The Position:


The Executive Assistant (EA) is a pivotal member of the Executive Management team, responsible for providing high-level confidential administrative, planning and logistics management support to the CEO and Operations Manager who are leading a fast-paced, growing team.

The EA will ensure the CEO and Operations Manager workflow and engagements are managed to the highest degree of due diligence and professionalism, whilst also working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth administrative operations of the team and our mission.

The position supports the Executive Leadership team to collaborate across teams, manage communications and co-ordinate partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
by ensuring quality operational planning, monitoring, and reporting.

The Executive Assistant will support strategic engagement activities, including coordination fundraising and key events, stakeholder management and development opportunities and assist with the coordination of strategic project initiatives and the development of policy positions across the organisation.


About you


You have a strong track record of supporting CEOs or other senior executives in planning, delivery and execution of their role.

You love working in a fast paced environment and feel comfortable with pivoting focus when needed.

You are highly self-motivated and want to succeed in all that you do with a strong attention to detail. You love building relationships with people and have an optimistic outlook.

Essential Criteria:


  • Qualifications or experience related to business, administration or operations.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supporting senior management roles.
  • Ability to identify and build new networks and connections.
  • Capacity to work productively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with Demonstrated success with influencing and negotiating.
  • Outstanding communication skills - Business standards in both oral and written mediums.
  • Ability to be self-directed, make necessary determinations where required and be confident offering feedback and suggestions.
  • Solid understanding of financial management - Experience budgeting and forecasting.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Highly developed proficiency in working effectively as part of a team, building teams and working in multi-teamed organisations.
  • Ability to relate to a range of people at all levels including, volunteers, members, staff, clients, Advisory Board Members and government departments.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings; respond to meeting requests, ensuring the most efficient use of time for each Executive Director.
  • Satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
  • COVID-19 full vaccination in accordance with TFC policies and Procedures.
  • Current NSW drivers licence.
