Recycling Victoria is strengthening Victoria's waste and recycling sector, building resilience, and creating markets for recycling products through monitoring, reporting and regulation of waste and recycling management.
Recycling Victoria works with portfolio partners, local government industry, and its statutory advisory committees, to deliver a coordinated and evidence-led approach to managing risks in the sector and deliver a circular economy for Victoria.
The Manager Data and Intelligence will work as a part of the extended Leadership Team across Recycling Victoria, you will collaborate and influence across all waste, recycling and circular economy program areas.
This role will lead the environment portfolio's waste data governance framework and establish governance arrangements for improving the timeliness, accessibility and quality of waste and resource recovery data with local councils and the waste industry.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of waste resource recovery markets and strong knowledge of circular economy measurement frameworks highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Significant leadership experience and drive, with proven experience building, mobilising and leading a highperforming team of experts towards delivery of outcomes.
- Ability to set strategy in place and to follow through with delivery of outcomes.
- Proven experience in the leadership of data and information services, teams and initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to convey up to date and dynamic data, intelligence and market trends.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
