About the Role

The Scrum Master will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Web Squad and help them provide great service to the ANU community.

The Scrum Master will work closely with the Squad and web governance group, seamlessly engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, including other technical teams, Colleges, Service Divisions, Executives and vendors and external partners as required.


Key Duties:

  • Provide leadership and support to create an engaged and cohesive team that operates according to the ITS target cultural values, that understands core Agile concepts, and practices these in alignment with the ITS ways of working.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, including helping make progress, risks and issues visible and ensuring outcomes are delivered and measured.
  • Drive datainspired continuous improvement within the operating environment, fostering growth mindsets and capabilities across all members of the Squad and broader stakeholder groups.

About You

  • Has extensive experience in Agile delivery of web capabilities, ideally across multiple platforms (at least five years)
  • Is a Certified Scrum Master or possesses accreditation in other relevant teambased Agile frameworks with strong skills in core Agile practices
  • Has a customerfocused mindset and wants to support the Squad in establishing strong customerservice practices
  • Has delivered high quality roadmaps, release plans and/or business cases within a complex web landscape
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively negotiate with stakeholders and delivery partners
  • Demonstrates success in fostering a positive working culture underpinned by engagement and empowerment
