ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a large and Australian owned provider of services to the facility and building asset management industry.

The company is involved with the on-site assessment of assets including schools, hospitals, utilities, transport, aged care, and community facilities as well as the collection of data and innovative reporting of information.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader and Project Manager/Project Engineer, the Technical Quality Assurance Officer will be working alongside various managers,project leads and auditing teams to undertake technical QA assessments and related site facility assets.

The successful QA officer will provide various input into project setups and reporting to ensure accurate and quality reports are delivered to clients.


Ideally you will:


  • Work closely in a team environment.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of work is always maintained.
  • Provide strategic and operational solutions to ensure clients make informed decisions.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is necessary for success.

Key Technical skills

  • Advanced or Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel experience with VLOOKUP and Formulas
  • Exceptional eye for detail will be reviewing final reports and documentation before its submitted
  • Ability to write detailed and considered reports on project stages, defects, outcomes etc.
  • Advanced computer literacy and basic knowledge of troubleshooting for Windows, Mac, Android and IOS systems.


  • Highly organised

  • May work across multiple projects simultaneously and will need to ensure all data is kept organised and confidential
  • Be solution focused and comfortable with rapid change and dynamic situations. Challenges may include site access problems, weather, data upload/download delays, and other factors outside the teams control, focus on specific projects may change day to day as needed and as problems and solutions arise.

Your key responsibilities include:


  • Provide technical input at the inception of various projects.
  • Work with project leads to onboard and train new assessment staff.
  • Undertake onsite building condition assessments as well as site inspections.
  • Undertake technical report writing as required for projects.
  • Exercise initiative, discretion, and judgement to evaluate technical data and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Regular access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Australian Working with Children check or the ability to obtain one
